These examples use one fictional community garden. Names, numbers and states are illustrative.
Modes describe the light: Night uses a dark ground and Day uses a light ground. Surfaces describe the work: Study gives reading room to breathe, Ledger helps comparison, and Folio prepares content for print. Ready, Review and Resting describe the work itself.
Each example starts with its own mode and surface. As you scroll, the toolbar follows the active example; its controls change only that example and remember your choices while you move around.

The Common Ground Project
A garden is never quite finished. At Common Ground, neighbours tend shared beds, care for the paths and make places to pause. Small observations help us decide what needs attention next.
Our fictional project keeps a simple record of each place, so volunteers can find a useful place to begin.
